В таблице представлены значения плотности (в г/см3) при температуре 20°С. Таблицу используют при определении плотности ареометрами, калиброванными при температуре 20°С.
При подготовке таблиц учтены поправки на расширение стеклянного ареометра и расширение нефтепродуктов, поэтому данные таблицы не рекомендуются использовать для определения плотности других веществ.
по таблице в горизонтальной графе "Плотность по шкале ареометра, г/см3" найти округленную величину плотности, например, 0,640;
по таблице найти плотность продукта при 20°С - 0,647 г/см3. Так как при округлении измеренной плотности значение плотности фактически уменьшили на 0,6448 - 0,640 = 0,0048 или 0,005 г/см3, необходимо прибавить это значение к найденному по таблице значению плотности при 20°С, то есть (0,647 + 0,005) г/см3 = 0,652 г/см3.
Если измеренную плотность округлили до 0,650 г/см3, фактическое увеличение значения плотности составляет 0,650 - 0,6448 = 0,0052 или 0,005 г/см3. Поэтому из значения плотности при 20°С, найденного по таблице (0,6569 или 0,657 г/см3), необходимо вычесть 0,005 г/см3, то есть 0,657 - 0,005 = 0,652 г/см3.
